Center Bearing
The metal-reinforced, patented center bearing from SGF is characterized by an extremely compact design. It enables precise positioning of the cardan shaft in the body and ensures the mobility of the cardan shaft in the axial direction.
The rubber rebate minimizes the transmission of vibrations and, in conjunction with the axial stops, acts as an integrated restoring function of the overall system. Radial stops reliably protect the rubber rebate from overload in the radial direction. The rubber compound is optionally made of e.g. NR, NBR, EPDM or HNBR.Â

Auxiliary Unit Bearing
The auxiliary unit bearing developed by SGF for the automotive industry dampens vibrations of compressors particularly efficiently.
It contains a base bracket and rubber springs and can be installed in no time at all: The first step for this is to mount the bracket on the car and fix it with the fasteners. Then the compressor is mounted on the bracket and secured with nuts.Â

Engine Mount
With link elements that operate according to the tensile force principle, compressive forces can also be transmitted through clever design of the flanges. These tension-compression bearings are characterized by:Â

Alignment System
The alignment system developed by SGF especially for the automotive industry enables an oscillating longitudinal and rotary movement between the cardan shaft and the transmission journal. Its cardanic mobility is in the range of small deflection angles. Moreover, it is completely maintenance-free.
The inner sleeve of the alignment system is made of plastic and is fitted onto the gear journal (clearance fit). The fitted rubber is available in different shore hardnesses. The metal outer bushing is pressed firmly into the flange bore (positive fit).
The alignment system is perfectly matched for use in the system with flexible discs. The tasks are clearly distributed: While the flex disc transmits the power, the alignment system guides the system.Â
